Rented a Uhaul from them and had an excellent experience. The move was a bit last minute and quite stressful, but Rusty at AAMCO was incredibly helpful and kind. He was flexible with our reservation and the rental itself was in great shape. Working with Rusty and AAMCO couldn't have been easier. 10/10 would rent again. Heck, I might just stop in to say hello every now and then

If I could give more stars I would! My husband & I took our Chrysler mini van to Rusty when nobody else could or would help us. It was a last ditch effort. From the start Rusty was honest & straightforward. He told us he would do all that he could BUT it if it was not worth saving, he'd say so before taking our money. Rusty gave us an option of fixing the transmission without a rebuild, he told us that there were absolutely no guarantees & it was 100% up to us if we wanted to take the chance. We did & we are so glad. I have my van back with & we are not out thousands of dollars or worse, having to deal with a new car payment! Truly Truly thankful for Rusty & they'll work he did. Well be back for sure & referring anyone looking for an honest & very gifted mechanic!

Rusty was extremely helpful and patient he helped us with our car that broke down with a bad catalytic converter issue which caused a cracked manifold and in turn killed our transmission 😭 he was up front about the work it would take and exactly how much it would cost. But unfortunately it costs more to fix than it's worth!!! Went to buy another vehicle and took it straight to RUSTY thank God we did he diagnosed all the problems before we got into the loan we were able to return it and get our deposit back.. He definitely puts a little hope in a world where we all can use some!!!

This is Chris Jackson, a mechanic and father of seven. My daughter who is in flight school in Lancaster, PA. called home with a concern with her racing engine and it seemed to me that it may be transmission trouble related to low fluid. I recommended she go to an oil change place and have them check her fluids. The tech was nice enough to check and top fluids at no charge. This however only solved the problem for a week and we were forced to drop the car off at a Transmission location in the area. They were quick to condemn the transmission and give me a replacement price for between $5100 and $6100. Certainly not what dear old dad wants to hear while paying 200/hr for flight lessons on a Honda that was under 100k mi. I contacted Rusty @ AAMCO over the Christmas holiday for a second opinion. After a quoted fee for diagnosis, Rusty thought it merely needed a new fill cap and topping off of fluid. Once he got it up on the lift to dig deeper into the problem, he realized his initial diagnosis was wanting and found a broken pressure switch. I would have hoped he saw this initially but being in business my self, I too have made inadequate diagnosis, esp. when there is something more obvious stealing my attention. At any rate, Rusty thought the vehicle may have been "bottomed out", causing this problem. My daughter later confirmed this. Thankfully after the cap replacement and pressure switch, she was on the road again. We were spared the larger cost of a total replacement as quoted by their competitor, Whom I will call and rebuke for their lack of professionalism. Rusty's charges, which included a follow up inspection confirming a loose cap, that was replaced, totaled only $955.00. A wave relief passed over me and consequently I as an ASE. certified mechanic, give Rusty and his assistants my highest recommendation.
